Pogy, Rtas, and Jenna all stood by the docks of the small port town.

"Well they told me Bowen was going to be just fine after a few more days." Pogy said

"Great to hear." Jenna replied

"Well you two, it's been one hell of a time but the time has come for me to tend to other things." Rtas spoke

"Oh really, why are you in such a hurry?" Pogy asked

"I got a promise to keep."

"I see well give her my regards."

"I will, and if you see Thel tell him I'll see him soon enough."

"I'll be sure to do that."

"Well Jenna was great meeting you. You'll have to promise me a battle sometime."

"It's a deal." She replied

Rtas released his Tropius and hopped on its back.

"Stay outta trouble now." Pogy said

"Hey, it's me!" Rtas replied as the Tropius lifted off.

"Well, you're boat is gonna be leaving very soon."

"Yeah, it is." Jenna replied "And you're always welcome on my ranch."

"I thank you for that. Well don't be a stranger you're always welcome here."

"Trust me I'm gonna make plans to come back here some day and see all of this land."

"There is one last thing I would like to say before you go though."

"By all means."

"I just wanted to say…" Pogy took a step forward and embraced Jenna. "Thank you, for standing by me until the end."

She embraced him back. "Anytime."

The two broke apart from each other after a few moments had passed. "Well, can't keep your boat waiting."

"Yeah, I hope we see each other again soon." Jenna said as she turned towards the ship.

"I'm sure we will."

Jenna made her way to the boat and it departed very shortly after she was on board.

"Well looks like this journey has indeed come to its end. Time for me to move on to other things." Pogy turned and walked back towards town.

Two days had passed since Dark Oak had met his end. Jenna had returned home and everyone was quickly getting back to their normal way of life. The weather was growing colder by the day and snow was expected for the region in the near future.

Vincent sat on the stone that he and Veruka had exchanged many meaningful words to each other over the course of the past week or two. He had come to an acceptance that his powers could only be used for short periods of time where his emotions would hit a fever pitch. Veruka still had full intentions of keeping her promise to him. For Vincent life had ultimately been made much better by Dark Oak's time in Sinnoh.

"Vincent." A familiar voice called out for him.

"I'm over here my gentle flame." He replied

Veruka emerged from the brush. "I told you not to call me that."

"Then what would you prefer?"

"My actual name of course."

"So what's up with the…?"

Veruka's body was completely absent of all her plates. A blue cloth was wrapped around her chest and her gold collar still remained on her neck.

"Jenna is polishing all of my plates, kinda like she did your nubs."

"My spikes you mean?"

"I wouldn't call them spikes."

"You know I broke them off for you."

"I always had my guess on that." She replied taking a seat beside him.

"So when are you gonna start training me?"

"Tomorrow, whenever you like. Don't worry I won't be as rough as Rex was."

"Good, I don't think I could take another round of that."

"I'm gonna make sure that you don't"

"I'm glad of how things turned out."

"Hm?"

"You know, Pogy got his friend back, Dark Oak is gone, I kinda found out my powers work."

"True."

"Plus everyone is safe now, and most importantly you and I am finally a couple."

"I really hope you aren't looking for the deal like Napoleon and Cotton have with me."

"Nah I would never expect that. I'm just glad we are together."

"Well that's good."

"But I will say we are at our "love rock" so to speak."

"You named this rock?"

"Not really I just prefer to refer to it as such. I mean think about it, all we've said to each other in this very spot."

"Whatever floats your boat I guess."

"Still we may have only been a couple for only about two days, and we haven't done much of nothing."

"Well we have stayed rather close to each other, literally."

"Still you know something more would be expected. I mean look at Cotton and Napoleon."

"Please don't compare us to them besides we've already established that I don't want a relationship quite like theirs. And also I'm not Cotton and you certainly aren't Napoleon, we're Veruka and Vincent."

"Well I can live with that. But can't Veruka and Vincent have a bit of fun."

"Not if you're talking daycare play every day."

Vincent chuckled "Certainly not. But you know something every now and then."

"Well I guess we could do something every now and then."

"Well that works for me."

"But truthfully I will agree with you, seems like even I expected something more outta this so far."

"Maybe we should do something then?"

"What do you have in mind then?"

"I dunno, maybe a nice long kiss or something."

"Hm, perhaps something a bit more "fun" so to speak."

"Well there's not much else I can really think of."

"You sure?"

"Um long kiss and then milk and cookies?"

"How about we just do something a lot better than all of the aforementioned."

"I guess whatever you really wanna do, doesn't bother me."

"Alright then I'm gonna run with my idea."

"Fine by me. But what was your idea anyways?"

Vincent saw the blue cloth that was wrapped around Veruka's chest fly out onto the ground in front of him. His face immediately turned red as it possibly could. He turned to face Veruka in all her glory.

"We'll just go with the flow." She replied

"I had no idea you wanted to do this after what you said."

"Oh just be quiet and kiss me already."

Veruka wrapped her arms around Vincent and pressed her lips against his. Vincent didn't refuse this any at all as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed back. He broke away from the kiss after a few moments passed.

"Veruka say those three wonderful words for me."

"I love you."

"That's more like it."

Vincent pressed against her lips again, kissing more furious than before. They remained lip locked for a few minutes before they pulled apart once more.

"I'd be surprised if we beat Cotton and Napoleon at this sort of thing." Veruka said
Vincent licked Veruka's cheek. "We'll never be able to top them at daycare play I'm sure."

"We can certainly try though." Veruka replied with a chuckle.

"I love you Veruka."
